Are you someone who brings strong administrative skills and enjoys working closely with community members and leadership? We’re looking for a committed, full-time Lands Coordinator to help manage and protect our traditional lands in a way that reflects our values, supports sustainable development, and builds a strong future for our Nation.
We Offer:
- Wage – Starting rate of $36.00/hour ($68,250/year) commensurate with experience and qualifications.

What You’ll Do:
- Administer and maintain records of land transactions such as leases, permits, transfers, and rights-of-way.
- Support the development and implementation of Land Code, use plans, and policy frameworks.
- Liaise with government agencies, consultants, and legal advisors on land-related matters.
- Promote and monitor environmental stewardship, ensuring land use practices are sustainable.
- Provide support and guidance to community members on land tenure, allotments, and development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including the Indian Act, the First Nations Land Management Act (FNLMA), and local bylaws or land codes.
- Engage with community members to reflect traditional and cultural values in land management.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for leadership and community meetings.
