Youth Extra Curricular Activity Funding/ K-12 Tutoring & Adult Training Funding

Youth Extra Curricular Activity Funding:

Huli’tun Health Society provides funding for Lyackson First Nation youth to aid with registration costs for extra-curricular activities and sports programs with the hope of encouraging our youth to participate in healthy activities.

K-12 Tutoring and Training Funding:
 
a) To assist band members in grades K-12 with access to tutoring services, as needed, ensuring the foundational skills and confidence to reach their full potential,
b) To assist band members in acquiring the training and skills required to gain employment or advancement within current employment arrangements by providing funding for courses not covered by CSETS or INAC’s Post-Secondary Education Funding Program.
 
The K-12 Tutoring Program will provide each eligible student with up to $500 per fiscal year (Apr1-Mar31), until current year’s program funding is depleted.
The Adult Training Program will provide each eligible student with up to $1,000 per fiscal year (Apr1-Mar31), until current year’s program funding is depleted.
 
Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis, until the current year’s program funds are depleted.
